TTA Alumni Membership Requirements

Extension of Membership

Membership in the Top Teens of America Alumni Association is extended to all former members of Top Teens of America (TTA) who:

  • Are/were members in good standing with TTA at time of High School Graduation or receipt of their GED
  • Hold a High School Diploma or GED
  • Satisfy all application, background, and financial requirements for the alumni organization

There are three (3) types of membership in the organization:

Charter Member

Charter Membership is exclusively extended to and reserved for individuals who meet the above requirements and who attended the official chartering of the organization during the 2019 TLOD/TTA Syn-Lod. In addition to the distinction of being Charter Members, these individuals possess all the rights and responsibilities of General Members.

*** Charter Members should be recognized as such in greeting, identification, official correspondence, and so on and so forth.

Ex. We will now receive the invocation from Charter Member Thomas.

Junior Alumni Member (HS Graduation - Age 21)

Junior Alumni Membership is extended to members of TTA at the time of High School Graduation until they are age 21. While Junior Alumni Members may serve as Senior Counselors, Alumni Ambassadors, and in other roles at the discretion of TLOD/TTA, they may not hold office in the alumni organization or serve as mentors within the TTA Alumni Mentoring Network.

*** There is no financial obligation (dues) for Junior Alumni Members. As so, each Junior Alumni Member is expected to actively participate in the work of the alumni association and to engage in mentoring relationships with more experienced alumni members.

General Member

General Membership is extended to individuals who meet the membership requirements and are age 21 or older. These individuals possess all the rights and responsibilities of membership in the organization.

TTAAA New Alumni Pledge

I, ______________________,  promise to faithfully fulfill my duties as a Top Teen Alumnus. Imbued by the spirit of the TTAAA mission to continue the TTA legacy through scholarship, mentorship, and service, I will endeavor to earn my own place among alumni who by their devotion to this ideal, have brought recognition and honor to the TTA legacy. I commit myself to the highest standards of service to my community and country. I will provide moral, intellectual, and financial support through the Alumni Association and I will encourage others to contribute and participate in the activities and noble work of TTAAA. With God as my help and TTAAA as my support, I will seek to stay true this pledge.

Written and proposed by Brittany T. Paschall, TTAAA Steering Committee Co-Chair, May 2020
